Sensorial: Pink Tower

Sensorial activities help the child to focus on completing a task as well as working on their hand-eye coordination. The Pink Tower is one of our favourite materials during Sensorial lessons.
The Pink Tower material delivers a number of purposes:
"1) Visual and muscular perception of dimension leading to an abstract understanding of size
2) Awareness of dimension leading to intelligent observation of size in the environment
3) Coordination of movement
4) Perfection of hand movements
5) Preparation for mathematics

This year's theme for Montessori Ilham's 9th Annual Concert was Around The World. There were performances to represent each continent! Interesting, huh? Scroll down to see our show! We held our concert at Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club. Well done to all children for braving the stage and strutting their best!!

Trip to Pizza Making Class at Pizza Hut, Kota Damansara

Recently we had a trip to Pizza Making Class at Pizza Hut Kota Damansara before the school holidays. Children got the opportunity to make their own pizza, complete with toppings and even got the chance to put the pizzas in the oven at Pizza Hut's kitchen! Besides that, children were served with hot mushroom soup and freshly-baked garlic bread for snack time. And when our pizza was ready, we got to take it home! How cool was that?! Now don't be jealous, moms and dads! :)
