At Montessori Ilham, we are committed to guide and teach children using the Montessori Method of Teaching. Out aims and objectives are to educate children using their minds and senses and to provide a range of experiences that will stimulate their love of learning and discovery. With the right approach, children learn willingly. The essence of Montessori education is that every child is treated with respect, given freedom within the limits of a carefully structured environment and allowed to develop naturally at his or her own pace

Ramadan

Dear Little Friends and Parents,
The Holy Month is upon us again. At Tadika Ilham Mutiara, we teach our children the concept of Ramadan to help them feel the spirit of the month. When a child realizes the importance of Ramadan, he or she will automatically learn to respect it and face the challenge of fasting with bravery and positivity.

During our Agama class on 8th July 2013, Teacher Melissa shared with our children the story of “Fatimah’s First Fasting Day (http://mini-mumin.com/Bookstore.html). After the story telling session, the children were encouraged to ask questions.

There was also a card making session and a coloring ‘Ramadan Booklet’ for the children to reaffirm all that has been taught.
